    Sorry to high-jack your thread, but can anyone explain me how is shutter-life measured? I've seen very different stats for the same cameras.

    • It's just a approximation. There's no real way to gauge a shutters life.sikma
    • My first digital rebel was rated for 60,000 shots but I took over 250,000 with it and it still works.sikma
    • Just the heat it generates probably alters how materials behave. Electronics have physical decay too.Corvo2
