    if you want to do something outside of simple styling it's very difficult. sure there are lots of themes, but if you want to make a store that works a little differently than the magento way, good luck.

    but the major issue for small shops is that it's a total resource pig. in fact, some smaller shared hosting services will suspend your ass for resource abuse. dedicated hardware required if you want sane pageload times
