if you cant take a truthful or even harsh crit then you shouldnt even be in this business!

If someone justifiably slates your stuff you should be able to stand up for your own work and answer back.

At art college we used to do crits at the end of each project where everyone would take turn to stand up and show their work and talk about it, then the lecturer would tell you what he thought and try pick it to bits then folk in the class would ask questions or try to rip it to bits.

This kind of experience sets you up for the REAL world where you get c*nts of clients.

If it's one person telling you that your stuff is crap then yeah he/she might just be being a c*ck.
If it's a whole bunch of people telling you that your stuff is crap then maybe you should look at developing your design skills a bit further.

And very experienced designers on here ARE willing to help and give constructive criticism but some (like the case of ol Rybo) thought it was a personal attack and retaliated. Granted he did take on board some criticism when he realised people were only trying to help.
