Objective critiques can't really exist since everyone's perception is shaped by their own personal life experience. That said, of course honest, constructive criticism helps anyone grow and develop (or decide to seek another occupation), even though it's all subjective opinion. But expecting civility on QBN is not exactly realistic when fools are hiding behind a veil of pixels.

Ruining someone's day with a subjective hatchet job usually says more about the person posting than anything else. Haters are more often than not exposing their insecurities or chemical imbalances in their disses. So you gotta laugh at the heathens and yes, filter out the BS some lesser evolved cro-mags spew out.

    • You don't really think my life experience affects my ability to judge someones kerning, do you?NONEIS
    • the amount of experience you have kerning, and the amount of well kerned stuff versus poorly kerned stuff does, so – kinda!
      Amicus
    • sure, there are exceptions re: traditions and norms...unless someone's making an agitprop statement with their nontraditional kerning...are there universal truths? Depends on the situation.Kiino
