Years ago in the NBA playoffs, Derek Harper, thinking Dallas was ahead of the Lakers (the score was actually tied), dribbled out the clock instead of trying to score. The game went into overtime and the Lakers inevitably won the game.
Once again, the Mavericks manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
