we do that all the time.
only thing on timeline is in / out / idle / rollover states for all animations and empty placeholder clips.
so its all in a big library that we, with as3 make stages and populate pages from.- that's how I do it, but I have to make my stuff work with designers who use the timeline..vaxorcist
