The first time I saw Mean Girls I was skeptical and my expectations were pretty low since it seemed like a Lindsay Lohan vehicle but I was pleasantly surprised and thought it was kinda ok. Since that time my opinion has apparently raised my expectations beyond its actual merit and now it sucks.
