i think the larger holes sell the idea better.
i don't think you should turn the B around or turn a D into a B.
Penopolis is right, if this is printed small the holes may not show, but if this is just for a website you should be safe.lastly, i think if your audience are snowboarders coming to a snowboarding website that the graphic isn't going to go over their heads. they are going to get it because they are snowboarders.
