The bikes themselves are fun to ride... the current circus surrounding them and the associated dress code is hilarious. Nowhere in cycling is there such homogeny as in the "fixie" scene.
- .hmmm well 55 year old guys in the burbs or southern california/petaluma and boulder/denver with their wool and spandex outfits/ n lets not forget all the dual suspension mountain bike gear daddies.. i think cycling has the most fashion slaves? oh and then theres the nike live hard /strong whatever mess... agree, just like a schwinn with a kick-back hub or coaster brake, less to worry about, it makes biking fun in chicago when theres a stop sign every ten feetthebigness
