  A compass?..

  Imagine an app that shows you the sky map of where you stand and point your iPhone towards. How many times you looked at the stars and wondered what constellations those were?
  So, the GPS finds your position, accelerometer tells the angle so that the app knows which part of the sky you're aiming the phone at. The only part missing was the compass to show what direction you're pointing at.
