I commissioned an artist to create a portrait of one of my wife's dogs, then built a custom frame for it. She claims it to be the number one material gift I've given her (which puts the damn jewelry into perspective).
As for a gift from her to me, she's getting a tattoo in my honor for our 13th wedding anniversary, which I think is really sweet.
