    to add fuel to the fire, i've printed some cards on coated stock that look quite nice. it really depends on what you are printing. anything with a lot of detail, or something that needs really accurate color matching that uncoated inks just can't match will benefit from a coated stock. stay away from the gloss though. my personal favorite is sappi mccoy velvet. it's got a very luxurious feel to it and comes in a respectable 120# cover weight.
    back to the topic, are these cards, just text, or is there any fine linework or imagery?
