#1really, the weather? you live in/or are from in one of the unhealthiest shitholes in the US, please don't talk about the weather, have fun driving to work.i will agree with you on #2 to an extent.
#3 You should consider going to other parts of the city you may have "thought" you visited. for example, i have a house in north portland, and I am pretty sure the hardcore gay bar down the street and gang violence on Lombard are not what is hype in gentrification.
Number 4? seriously? get a clue. You are from or live in LA, that place is full of shit, masquerading as something to do, but is seriously full of farts, brownouts and reality tv hopefuls. You guys do have good comedy clubs going for you, but thats about it.
