A2 posters usually. Does Edinburgh prosecute billposters and the venue's they post for? they do in glasgow, so generally runs are way down on the halcyon days where every lamp post had artwork on it. If this is the case, he'll be putting them up in pubs and record shops and the like, so he wont need many.
Again if edinburgh is like Glasgow there will be a crew of semi-gangsters who will flypost for him for a fee, who are in cahoots with the polis and don't have their stuff nicked. They however might find the cooncil sticks CANCELLED stickers over all the posters instead.
anyway, it costs fuck all, you can probably get A2 full colour now in shortish runs that costs the same as 1 colour did when I gave a fuck about this kind of thing. check tinternet.
