uhh....about al green. confusing him with marvin gaye? al green was a hi records recording artists-sub of stax records-who made soul music for 10 yrs (relasing records from 67-76)in memphis. he had more than 6 major hits that i can think of off the top of my head -"Tired of Being Alone" to "Let's Stay Together," "I'm Still in Love With You," "Call Me," "Here I Am" to "Love and Happiness" and "Belle." he made 15 top ten records. al green then became an ordained minster in 1976 and started releasing gospel records in the 80's until now. he is the minister at the Full Gospel Tabernacle, which is outside of downtown Memphis, where he's been for over 20 yrs. i think you are confusing al green beating his wife with someone else. perhpas ike turner? there was a famous incident of
his girlfriend pouring a pot of steaming grits on him while he was brushing his teeth. which soon after that she took her own life. c'mon, you guys should stop listening to all that bad music and tune into to some al green.
