it was not very good. the effects were great of course. some scenes were very well done -- production is top notch. the first half that focuses more on Marcus Wright is much more enjoyable than the John Connor story. they did some very interesting things with the machines and at a couple of points in the first half i was kind of scared of them.
after the first half i was beginning to believe that the reviews were all wrong but they weren't. christian bale looked out of place, and clearly distracted. perhaps he just wanted to trash some lights. second half pretty much blew. also, it had some of the worst dialog in recent memory.
