been to the western end of the island a bunch, not much experience with the eastern side. you could rent scooters and take the old railway path out to sandys to the old naval docks, there's a big glassworks out there in one of the old buildings. renting a whaler or laser to poke around in is fun too, might see some turtles. fish chowder with sherry peppers a must.
