But seriously though, if you were able to approach the printer and say you can give them a substantial amount of print work but would expect to retain a print buyer's fee for doing so, they would probably cut you a back hand. If however you've already introduced the client to the printer and are now sat there thinking you might retrospectively ask for a hand out after the event, then I'd say you've blown it.
