Yeah, I've been there...it seems like some women just don't understand where money comes from. Braaad's advice is good though. There are ways in which she SHOULD be able to be productive while you're being productive. For example, she could bring some work to do herself, a good book, cook dinner for the two of you (for when you're done working), fold laundry, pay bills, write the great American novel...something.
My EX girlfriend used to keep me from getting anything done. I repeat, my EX girlfriend. ;)
