wonderful wonderful advice. Concerning the economy, much of the work I've been involved in is part of a very healthy improvement in annual performance. I'm involved daily in the numbers so I have a very quantifiable map of what I've done and what effects it's had.
I think what I'm going to do is set up the review alongside a proposal. The prop will get all the stuff I know I don't have time to ramble off during the review. I think it also might serve me well in getting the numbers I want out on the table. I've taken on an insane amount of extra responsibility and I'm really just into asking for what is fair.
The vacation thing is a big one. I've got three weeks on the drawing board for a cross country motorcycle trip (trans america trail -- all dirt).
God this is stressful. Gotta do it now though, if I can get a bump in troubled times I'm set when the sun comes out!
