- Hey, Jacob is that guy who plays random characters on various shows.
- The statue!!
- Sawyer gave Kate "the look". He is so damn obvious, and Juliet always notices.
- The Driveshaft ring! I totally forgot that it was a kind of unfinished item.
- Meh, I'm OK with Juliet changing her mind so suddenly. The writers have implemented the same type of love and relationship themes since the beginning, and it's actually understandable for her to react that way. It definitely is a bitch move, but she's one of my favourite characters, and you could tell that moment was building up for a while now. They made it a point to make YOU notice that Juliet was noticing how Sawyer was pining for Kate again ever since she came back. Juliet is one of the calmest characters, but you knew it was going to come to some kind of confrontation between Sawyer and Juliet. She was digging in him for the past few episodes.
Juliet has basically made a living for herself and Sawyer on the island (trying multiple times to leave with a sub but eventually staying because Sawyer convinced her to), and when she knew he loved Kate more, everything was pretty much taken away from her. She doesn't have a reason to go home, does she? How long has it been since they talked about her sister or anything else of relevance?
So what's the point in having that relationship over again? (which you could argue would've happened if they went the Sawyer route of not blowing anything up). It's very similar to Jack's reason, except he always comes off as whiny. Anyway, just playing a bit of devil's advocate.
I, for one, liked that it was her who may have set off that bomb.
And the connection between the very first scene and the last scene with Jacob vs. Locke (?) is very interesting indeed.
