Theres an app for the iphone that lets you view the photos in your phone as a virtual gallery - like a 3D walkaround.
We just launched http://www.museumsgalleriesscotl… a few months ago.
Its an organisation who represents museums and galleries in scotland, rather than it just being a site with info about the organisation, we gave museums the opportunity to have their own updateable pages.
So its now a massive database of museums and galleries.
http://www.museumsgalleriesscotl…so if you are stuck for something interesting to do in scotland on any given day you can search to see what events/exhibitions etc are on. rather than having to visit multiple museum sites.
its also quite fascinating to see what kinds of museums there are out there lol.- Nice resources about the challenge of digitalising content. Very useful indeed! Thankshalford
