Once you get past any critiques on implementation, I'm not sure what this design really does for you.
It's not bad, just boilerplate Swiss modernist style that everyone has seen a million times, nothing really fresh or original about it. I'm assuming since you are starting your career you want something that will catch people's attention, this isn't it.
