    MT did have a Grid issue this week, but if you're opening a new account you ‘should’ be on Gen2. Saying that my Gen1 account wasn’t affected at all by the outage.

    Talking from my own personal experience: moving to MT was the best thing I’ve done. I had no end of troubles with other hosts. MT customer service has always been awesome afaik too.

    As you’ve noted though, other people have a polar view of MT’s Grid accounts.
