I think we will see more and more Laws that pass that challenge Federal Mandates and Resolutions.

so I disagree with your last sentence there but I would not say I see it quite so "pristine" ,

there is no pressing issue facing our nation that would divide us so bad as "slavery" ,

but take the Patriot Act for example a policy of W , and the border wall, our county is still in the courts fighting it's legitimacy even as the wall was completed over 5 months ago. Our city council voted against it , but it got put up anyways , what will be next? I use to be able to go to Juarez with out a problem , now I need a passport or a REALID to comeback starting June 1st? WHY?

I think for the pass140 years the Fed has been riding the high waves of we know what is best for all .

But the 10th Amendment leaves a lot of room for States to act on the best interest of their citizens , few states are in Montana's position to challenge Federal mandates and resolutions because of the threat of pulling funding. which is just sad, that it comes down to be in line or you get none of this even if you produced part of it ($) , Politicians are too chicken shit to challenge the Feds because most want to position themselves and appease , and no one wants to be the Politician the lost of Federal Money for a school or for this and that
