Amicus, thanks for your honesty.
My name is Bethany (obviously) but since I was little, people have tried to call me Beth...and it never stuck. So BE has been the compromise.
In terms of the period after BE, it's a simplified artist's statement on the ultimate action we should take, as individuals...
There is much more to say about this, of course...but to prevent a long drawn out explanation at 4am, I'll leave it at that.
