"Some people are confusing awesome games with awesome logos."
Isn't that actually pretty interesting? Begs the question, what is actually more important, the logo, or the service. I think in the end we are going to decide on the fact that both are important in their own way. But how effectively does one work without the other? Also, why have people chosen to post a logo that in its own right isn't all that great, but coupled with the idea of a great game is perceived in a different way. How can this be utilized by the logo designers to strengthen their work?
- no logo makes the decision, only gives the opportunityversion3
- also, i've never believed a logo should impress by itself as much as it should convey and support the brandversion3
- It's an interesting one for sure... game logos still struggle to shake the D&D/fantasy style, and game artists often design them. This makes any logos produced in the 'traditional' way stand out even more...MrT
