Right, but haven't you every wanted the answer to a factual question? Google is an OK tool for digging that up, but it's a pretty blunt instrument compared to what WA is trying to do.
In theory at least, you can ask it what the weather was like in Australia the day John Kennedy was shot, and it would spit the info out.
There is also the issue of metadata being so poorly implemented which I think is holding the web back from what it could be. If WA or a similar site takes off hopefully it could act as a catalyst for organizations to move to some kind of universal metadata standard quickly instead of waiting 20 years for everyone to get it right.
