#1 no one has USB2.0 so you're stuck with ass-slow USB 1
#2 It doesnt charge when connected to your machine doe sit?
#3 what's the battery life? my 9 month old iPod still gets 9 hours+ battery life.
#4 We know nothing about the software used to transfer music to it.
#5 Nothing can ever touch the ease of the iPod Wheel. What about audio controls? Better be able to turn em off - or your stereo might change it's own song if it's too loud - or if someone else yells or talks near it.
my iPod is incredibly durable.
9 months of heavy, everyday use in the car, at work, at home, and traveling and it barely has a slight dusting of small scratches which are very hard to see. the thing is incredibly durable. The wheel is a little loose now - but the new ones are solid state wheels that don't turn.and another thing that will piss a lot of people off . . .
Anyone that says PCs are just as good for graphic design as Macs doesn't know what they're talking about.
TrueType fonts are very difficult to get to image or print correctly in postscript.
Font management is non-existant.
Windows has a completely screwed up measurement for type .
Terrible postscript support outside of custom press-controller systems.I've never seen a professional graphic design company that used PCs for pre-press work.
I do, however, see them used often for typing and bookkeeping.
Web design, of course, is a toss up.
