I knew I could count on the pretentious "designer" folk at QBN. Always have something negative to say, hate to spread, close-mindedness to propagate. Instead of whining like children without their lollis why not say something with some thought behind it. If you're going to take the 15 seconds to type in something petty do it in another thread. Human rights matter regardless of citizenship. Racism, prejudice, bigotry, and ignorance are drawbacks to democracy. If you truly believe in your country and its laws why do you so conveniently dismiss and forget about the humane treatment of people? It's a law in this country to provide food, water, toilet paper, and access to lawyers to detained individuals. Where is your belief in this country and its laws when it comes to that?
This isn't simply a legal vs illegal problem. This country is built on cheap labor provided by the sweat and blood of immigrants, the simple fact that you think it's as easy as "go back to their country" shows the ignorance in society. We truly are all humans. If these people didn't live in dire conditions and needed to find a way to the United States, they wouldn't. Would you risk losing your life and family for something unnecessary?
The United States has invaded other countries, raised the price of living, and created "The American Dream". Who do you think is paying the bailouts for AIG and all the other pig bankers? It's the people who work in this country, whether legal or not. You, your fathers, mothers, friends, neighbors, immigrants, me, your boss, adn your cousin. Not the criminal companies, not the criminals CEO's, not the criminal politicians. Immigrants are not criminals. I do not know a single criminal in jail who pays taxes and contributes to their communities and societies like the hard-working immigrants of this country. Whether from Mexico or Latin America, Canada, Phillippines, Asia, Australia or whichever nation they arrived from they deserved to be treated like human beings.
