    do you like your job?
does it offer you what you want? if not, does the new one offer you more of what you want?

The decision should be made based on something. If it's money then go with what makes you more, but if you can negociate more at your current one then would you stay there?
I guess the msg sounds more like 'should I cause merry hell by quitting or not?' rather than asking a sensible career decision - just because you can cause a scene by maybe leaving early doesn't sound like a good career-driven decision.
Think about it this way. You threaten to leave, they negociate with you and give you a bigger salary package and then 2 months later fire you anyway since they got a replacement in after you caused all that fuss.
    Then you are where, exactly?
If you like where you are and they dont pay you enough, justify more pay to them. If they cant do it, then decide whether they have been good enough to you up to now to warrant you helping them out by finishing up. If you really can't stand it and someones offering you more, then jump ship. But do it all for the right reason, not just 'because you can'.
