Personally I would have perhaps chosen some kind of Chinese propaganda styling to boost the idea that this is not a corporate label-fest, though at the same time not wanting to step into 'Obey' territory. more of a nod/wink to communism I guess, but very tongue-in-cheek and funny.
I tihnk this would have worked well from a brand standpoint, it would have looked slightly rebellious and 'anti' with personality, whereas at the moment it looks, somewhat ironically, rather corporate and dull.
