  my experience working for a company of over 10k people ,

  Diplomas , Associate degrees get you in the door ;

  higher education, lets you move up to higher paying jobs

  I know people that have had the same title for over 20 years and could not move up cause they had no Bachelors ,

  in the end if you have the time , it will be worth it
