Yea, like in the East the Bruins (1) and Penguins (4) have advanced.
With two game 7's today, this is how it should play out:
Rangers (7) / Capitals (2)
If Rangers win, they play the Bruins.
If the Capitals win, they play the Penguins.
Hurricanes (6) / Devils (3)
If Hurricanes win, they play the Bruins.
If the Devils win, they play the Penguins.
If the Hurricanes -AND- the Rangers win:
Bruins/ Rangers
Penguins/ Hurricanes
If the Capitals -AND- the Devils win:
Bruins/ Devils
Penguins/ Capitals
The highest seed always plays the lowest available.
