Well Kyle is most likley significantly stronger than the other guy, but it's not like he can put a submission on you. He can't choke, no arm bars, no triangles, probably can ankle lock or sit on your face and hope you suffocate. So yes going to the ground with him is what he wants, but you still have the significant advantage. Granted you can't armbar or triangle him all that well either, but you certainly have more leverage with which to manuver him into a position suitable for ground and pound.
