    I saw this posted earlier, this was designed by someone I know, today, she and her husband own a nice design studio here in San Diego, during one of my visits as a freelancer, I asked if I can see some of their older work, just out of curiosity, and they explained to me that they also helped design the graphics on the game, which at the time was the first game with an axonometric perspective, in my mind, this was the inspiration for the "e-boy" style illustration.

    They couldn't believe I was so excited to know this story cause I actually played the game back in the day, I also commented that they should display this with their other work, as it was currently on some folder stored away.
