@benfal99...it's looking like this flu strain is very virulent (spreads fast) but has low mortality (does it kill you?) the further it spreads. So the people with the initial exposure might have higher death rates than those who catch it three, four, etc. generations after. This is a tentative observation, but that looks like the case.
