  believe me I've had dozens of them growing up, I would wear them until the rubber toe box separated from the canvas upper. I would have to duct tape the heels so they wouldn't flap when I walked. The sizes are always off from other brands.
  I actually bought a pair of the John Varvatos once that are much more comfortable, why don't they just use whatever technology he used.
