I think the point that you might be missing Styleplus is that regardless of weather we're being sold a false green day by the corporate world, humans are definitely becoming more aware of how un-sustainable our actions have been over the last 300 years. Many people are trying to live more sustainably on a day to day basis, others are just participating in this green hour. Either way, I agree that industry will have to follow suit if we ever want to solve our problems. But by making small changes in our daily consumption patterns we are thwarting what industry truly wants from us and I think that is the start of the kind of change you are talking about.
