i prefer NYC, but LA is a much, much better a place to live than i expected it to be.
don't listen to tits like fred, the place is what you make of it. he obviously failed at it.
weather is great, smog isn't too bad, eating is good, drinking is good, entertainment is good, work still seems to be plentiful, loads of places within a 5 hour drive that are well worh visiting, hipsters, yes, loads of them, but try going to London, New York, Barcelona, Berlin and not seeing plenty of them. i live right in amongst them all in Silverlake, so fuck, i have a nice apt with outdoor space and views. you don't have to go to Intelligentsia with your macbook and try and join in if you don't want to.
my only major gripe would be the lack of public transport. oh, and it's hot as shit.

- That's OK ya big jessy - sliver lake is small - I jog around the reservoir on weekends, and often have drinks at some of the sunset dives - I'm sure we'll bump into each other sooner or later.frediscrazy
