I cannot come back here for a while, so you need to increase the outer box decrease the inner box, track the luminance, increase the subpixel matching (this increases tracking time and interpolate frames at about 90%) hope this helps, you may be trying to track the wrong part hence it being quite difficult, also if you are tracking on luminance increase the contrast on the tracking layer while you track it to give you a better item to track. Then apply the track to whichever object you want.
