  What are the downside of a direct drive?
  I dont want to invest, i just got that one for 20$ and its just for fun.

  • older direct drives can have vibrations, most modern turntables have cushioningdanthon
  • belt drive can be smoother, but you can't run it backwards like a direct drive can. belt drive can't scratch...vaxorcist
