I would completely avoid the Mac is better than PC for what you do argument and go straight for the logistical nightmare of switching over. Make your argument be about efficiency in getting a different system up and running and THAT cost vs. the cost of some other printers for the Mac as someone suggested above.
Just as you wouldn't tell the IT Department how to set up networks and firewalls, they shouldn't be in a position to dictate how a CREATIVE department can best accomplish their work.
