  Pixel per chipsize relation tomkat? What does it mean, nice big grains of noise? :)
  I remember 300D was slow and had some WB issues, even compared to 10D but that's my short experience.

  I recommend 350D (Rebel XT in the US) over 300D, you can find it cheap if you look. Or 20D if you could find one for around £200.

  I wouldn't buy 10D, it doesn't take EF-S lenses (300D and higher do).
