my parents lived in Holland in the 60's, and I'm sure things have changed. They said that no matter how many bugs and bees fly in your windows in the summer, you cannot put screens on your windows, otherwise your neighbors will loudly shun you and think you're very low-class.....my parents found out the hard way....
