hey i live in los angeles. where people used to come to be actors now they come here to be artist, designer, art directors, creatives. its awesome. if you like working in the advertising world, word of advice, the first 15 years will be your sucking dick, the last will be you getting serviced by people for the last 15 yrs of your career. but i concur with what kelpie said too. you can get laid for being a designer. its great nothing feels better than dripping sweat, oh wait yes there is, dripping money.
