Why on earth would anyone want to share their source files? It's intellectual property. The only people I would ever allow access to source files besides printers would be employees who leave and need those files for their portfolios and for that reason only.
Follow your passion, don't become a jack of all trades unless that's what you truly want to be. Be aware that becoming too much of a niche type of designer is very limiting unless you are the absolute best in your particular niche. Don't spread yourself too thin, but don't be narrow-minded either.
Be humble. The only arrogant designers who succeed are on a Paul Rand level of talent, and even then they always end up bitter and alone.
Don't spend all of your time on design-related websites. A little in moderation is OK, even good, but too much is simply a waste of time.
