  You know, as much as there is this whole "Americans don't understand the rest of the world" meme, which is in vary degrees true, more in some ways, less in other, that seems to gets lots of play in the world media, there is the correspondingly also true bit that the Europeans and others grossly really don't understand America either all that well, which you guys seem to not take into account...much easier to cook up some cockamamie "US all powerful conspiracy" theories as much as many in the US drop the europeans as "surrender-monkey-socialist-wimp...
