There is no way of knowing why you cant get more internships than the 3 you have already been on, until we examine your work. I'm not sure why you think you need to subordinate yourself more, but If you don't feel comfortable revealing your work to us, then move on.
PS with a handle like "pantone princess" that screams female self-indulgence/lack of work ethic, you are asking for abuse from this sausagefest.
