I also do a good salt n pepper prawn. Mix some rice flour (about 4 tablespoons) with 1 teaspoon of 5 spice, 1/2 teaspoon of ground white pepper and some salt. You can adjust the seasoning depending on your preference in spice level. Dip your prawns into a beaten egg then into the flour/spice mix. Heat some oil to a high heat in a frying pan (sesame oil is good, otherwise veg oil) and fry for 2-3 mins each side, till the spice batter is a good golden brown.
Tasty indeed, but then I do love prawns.
